Pics of me...in recent years, have been bad. On my new license, I put (a tiny fib, of...) 170. *Today...my scale says, 175. Not so bad, of a starting point... *(Not that I have a lot of time/energy to devote, EVER...) :/ From now on, when we go out to eat, I will choose water w/ a lemon wedge. This whole, caramel color thing in cola, has been scaring the crap outta me. It will be SO HARD, to function...w/out my Pepsi! *(Headaches, here we come...) If I can just get off of this darn computer, get off my butt...I BEGIN to clean; I'd NO DOUBT, shed a few LBS. (&, in turn, START feeling better.) If I have indeed lost any weight, a FEW lbs; it is most assuredly, DUE to stress. (In pics, I LIKE to be standing...prefer, BEHIND something...) :/

ReplyDeleteThat was a fun weekend! Getting started is tough, especially when we tell ourselves how much we have to give up/change or how much energy it will all take. I know I need to change, get back to healthier ways, but some days it feels like I hardly have the energy to get everything else on my list done, much less wake up early to workout. Bah! Some people make it look so easy! True, carmel color (all artificial colors) is really bad for our body and one of the top causes of cancer. If you can ween yourself off, you are a strong, strong person! Try this, buy boxes of flavored tea packets (choose the ones that don't have artificial colors or flavors), fill a pitcher with cold water and drop in 4-6 tea bags. Let it cold-brew and add a little honey or stevia (artificial sweetners are also horrible for your health). Cold-brewed tea helped me to ween off of sugar-free drink mixes. Every effort counts.
