Been awhile...since my last post. Not really sure, what to make of everything...that's been going on; ALSO; hard to put into words...
Things, have been "flowing," along...pretty smoothly; where my niece coming back into the fold is concerned. She has been quite "receptive," to all our conversations. This is aiding in our becoming familiar, again...But, is this where it will stay...indefinately?!?
She's been needing, to get on/move on with her life...get out on her own. It has been hard...to sit IDLE, & "watch" her stuggle, with so many "obstacles," currently...in her path.
We would like to "help," but...it FEELS, "inappropriate"...@ this time. We have yet to actually "SEE" her. She, is STILL...quite apprehensive! She has to feel SECURE in knowing; she can make it, on her own...make things happen for herself. So, we sit quietly, on our hands...
*Meanwhile, her Mom...is now having some pretty-possibly heavy, health issues. We, can only assure her...that we are her family, too; that we are here for her...& she's NOT, "alone." 0:) <3
I'm sure she will come around slowly. She just needs time to see that she will not be hurt by the unknown. Getting out on her own will help her, but she is already becoming her own person, which is good for all concerned. Sorry to hear about her mother, I had no idea! Glad things are starting to work out the way you wanted!
